Welcome to my photography page. My name is Olga Dmitrienko, and I have been working in photography field for over 12 years now.
I was born and grew up in Moscow, in 2004 I became a student of the Moscow state University, faculty of journalism. It was there where I entered into the world of photography and photojournalism.
After my graduation in 2011 I continued working as a photographer. Later on I also moved to studio photography. By now I do documentary and staged photos, psychological portraits and reportage.
My main personal interest in photography is telling stories about people and representing their personality and individual traits of character through portraits and interviews.
Few of my personal photo-exhibitions took place in Russia (Moscow) and Italy (Genova).
I keep on working on personal artistic and documentary projects but I also work in other genres.
Apart of my job as a photographer I have other interests and hobbies connected with art. I sing, I play guitar, I draw and sculpture. I also take part in environmental and charity events as much as I can.

Portraits I believe should not just capture the face but also represent the personality. The more you know the person you are photographing the easier it is. But it is possible even with a stranger if you are sincerely interested and curious.
